Opportunities for Volunteers

New Song International is proud to be connecting specialists from around the world to children in dire need of medical care. One of the ways we do this is through volunteers who regularly visit children living in Ukraine’s orphanages and have received training on how to best serve children from hard places. We connect people who have built relationships with vulnerable children and are passionate about advocating for those children with medical professionals who have the skills and knowledge to assess each child‘s unique needs.

Many children who enter Ukraine’s orphanage system are already in need of intensive medical and therapy services, while other children may acquire the need while living in institutionalized care. Specialized therapy has emerged as a major need in the country. Though the exact number is unknown, thousands of children are in need of rehabilitation in Ukraine, requiring a range of specific health services. These services include but are not limited to receiving diagnoses, initial and ongoing treatment, surgery, assistive devices, and a variety of therapy.
